• Interpret and apply existing standards, legal requirements, and guidelines for functional safety;
• Develop methods and processes for continuous safety assurance at the organization (create and/or optimize templates, guidelines, checklists);
• Lead and coordinate creation of functional safety documentation according to ISO 26262;
• Ensure that processes and project work products are ISO26262 compliant;
• Perform safety management activities for the project according to relevant standards during system and software development;
• Support in functional safety audits and assessments;
• Proactive interaction with various stakeholders to build and maintain safety culture in the company.

• Technical degree e.g. computer sciences, or similar qualification with job experience;
• 5 + years of experience in automotive software development with focus on ASIL relevant functions;
• Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 and strong experience in realization of functional safety concepts (ISO26262);
• Practical experience in software development in A-SPICE relevant projects;
• Understanding of UNECE R 155/ R156, ISO 21434 and SOTIF are an advantage;
• Strong collaboration and communication skills;
• Excellent communication in English.
